Pot Luck Dinner:
Shabbat Services and
Tu B’shevat – New Year of Nature – Friday, January 29, 7:30 p.m. (Shevat 15)

Tu B’Shevat, the 15th of Shevat on the Jewish calendar, is the day that marks the beginning of a “New Year for Trees.”  We will have a pot luck dinner at Beth Shalom, with a focus on fresh fruits and vegetables, at 7:30 p.m.

Services will be starting at 8:00 p.m., led by Cantor Haim Menashehoff.

Shabbat Candle Lighting Times for Fairfield

Shabbat (candle lighting) begins at 5:03 p.m. Friday, January 29; Shabbat ends (Havdallah begins) Saturday, 6:06 p.m. in Fairfield.
