Shabbat Candle Lighting Times for Fairfield

Shabbat (candle lighting) begins at 7:16 p.m. Friday, April 2; Shabbat ends (Havdallah begins) Saturday, 8:17 p.m. in Fairfield.

Thank you for the Passover Seder!

The community Seder was a huge success with over 65 people in attendance. Revelations catered the absolutely gorgeous and delicious meal. It was very coherent, inspiring, fun, and fulfilling. It was wonderful to have a few visiting college students and alumnus join us, as well as a few people from Reverend Robert Koepke’s church in Donnelson, Iowa.

Thanks to the Passover committee, leaders, speakers and participants, including: John Allon, Julie & Steven Blum, Joseph Boxerman, Lisa, Gemma, and Johnny Cohen, Steven Druker, Joy Hirshberg, Haim Menashehoff,  Steven Sufian, Fred Schwartz and Co., Brian Teitzman, Carol Wallit, David Weisman, and Ben Winkler.

Please forgive us if you contributed but your name was inadvertently left off this partial list.

Thanks to all of you who attended. Also thanks to Kabuika Kumunga for coordinating the 2nd night’s Seder at the M.U.M. campus.

Please Support Beth Shalom With Your Donation

We need to raise $6,000 in donations as soon as possible to cover our basic operating expenses for the rest of the year.  Donations received so far this year have been lower than in previous years and we have had $3,000 in unexpected building repairs.

Our synagogue has added so much richness to our lives in Fairfield over the years.  We hope that you will continue to support the synagogue with your participation and a much needed tax deductible donation so that we will continue to exist as a place of worship, comfort,  joy, and spiritual renewal when you need it, and a silent support for us all at other times.

It is easy to donate.  Remember your donations are tax deductible.

* You can donate with PayPal or credit card at http://bethshalomfairfield.com/tzedakah/

*Or, mail your tax deductible donations to:

Thank you so much.
Best wishes for a happy Passover,
