Services will start at 8:00 p.m., at Beth Shalom, led by Cantor Haim Menashehoff. Steve Sufian would like to recite Kaddish for the yahrzeit of his mother, Jaime. Please join us and help form a minyan.
Shabbat Candle Lighting Times for Fairfield
Shabbat (candle lighting) begins at 8:26 p.m. Friday, June 25; Shabbat ends (Havdallah begins) Saturday, 9:35 p.m. in Fairfield.
Oil smell at the Synagogue entrance
You may have noticed a strong oil/petroleum smell when you walked into the building. We want you to know we had Alliant Energy come to verify there was not a gas leak. The odor is coming from the sewer. We are trying a few things to lessen the odor. It should be better soon. Thanks for your concern.
Parking
Please be sure not to park in front of anyone’s driveway or parking spot; especially the neighbor to the north of the synagogue. We want to be sure to respect their private property. Thank you.
