Shabbat (candle lighting) begins at 4:25 p.m. on Friday, November 25. Shabbat ends (Havdalah begins) Saturday, 5:27 p.m. in Fairfield.
Kosher Turkeys Available at Fairfield Hy-Vee
For last minute Thanksgiving shoppers, Hy Vee of Fairfield had a delivery of frozen Kosher Turkeys last weekend, with some still in stock as of this newsletter’s press time.
Chanukah Planning at Beth Shalom Annual Meeting Monday, Nov. 28
Beth Shalom members are invited to the Annual Meeting on Monday, November 28 at 8:00 p.m. at the synagogue. This is the time to nominate and vote on board members and officers. After that, the board will convene. The main agenda item is planning a Chanukah Party. Chanukah begins the evening of Tuesday, December 20. If you would like to offer holiday ideas or other input, you are warmly invited to attend.
