Shabbat Services Friday, Nov. 27

Services will be Friday evening, starting at 8:00 p.m., at Beth Shalom.


Shabbat Candle Lighting Times for Fairfield

Shabbat (candle lighting) begins at 4:24 p.m. Friday, November 27; Shabbat ends (Havdallah begins) Saturday, 5:26 p.m. in Fairfield.


Mazel Tov to Talia Katz Watson!

Talia Katz Watson, daughter of Judith Katz, will be going off to college this Spring. Talia served Beth Shalom as the religious school teacher. She will be starting her junior year at Ithaca College in New York to study writing and environmental science. Talia was awarded a merit scholarship by the Leopold P. Job Foundation for academic excellence. Previously, she studied at Sustainable Living at MUM and Findhorn Community in Scotland as well as teaching Hebrew School at Beth Shalom for two years. Her mother, Judith, wrote, “Thanks to the Fairfield Jewish community for another successful college-bound child!”

Kosher Thanksgiving


HyVee in Fairfield has Kosher turkeys in their frozen section for Thanksgiving. Beth Shalom wishes everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!


Hanukah: Join us for the Annual Hanukah Party
